GEFFE Buys & Refurbishes Microscopes

Microscope technician at work
From the contributions at last year's Gala, GEFFE has purchased 24 new microscopes, and refurbished the old ones.  Previously  science class students had to share one microscope with four students.

The refurbished and new  microscopes will give most students a chance to work on their own microscope.  The new ones will have life expectancy of 20 years or more; and the old microscopes will be good for at least 10 more years. The pictures on the left are of the  microscope technician, Paul Rains. of Tulsa and a cart of microscopes to be worked on.
