How GEFFE has impacted your education: Where do I start!  Books, smartboards, iPads, netbook computers, science lab equipment and the list goes on and on!  I can’t imagine what school would have been like without all of the extras provided by GEFFE.

How GEFFE has impacted your education:  GEFFE has provided many tools and opportunities in the classroom that would otherwise be unavailable such as books and study materials, lab equipment, calculators, funding, and much more.
Other Comments:  It is such an honor to be able to attend GEFFE and I’m so thankful for all they do and provide for the students of Grove. They have truly helped provide quality education for the students.

An example that inspired you to be the student you are today:  Mrs. Smith works so hard as a teacher and also as a mentor for the robotics team. She spends so much extra time working outside of school that she doesn’t have to so that our team can run smoothly, and she still comes into work every day without complaining. I’ve learned from her to put my best into everything I do without complaining.
How GEFFE impacted your education:  GEFFE has provided for many learning materials throughout my high school career, such as laboratory equipment and calculators.
Other comments:  A couple of years ago I was at this gala demonstrating robots for the robotics class at the school, seeing all the top scholars of that year getting the recognition they deserved for their hard work. Now it’s my turn, and I have to say it’s been a wild ride since then. I’ve enjoyed my time here in Grove, but now I am anxiously awaiting my future in college. Thank you for this honor.

What teacher has had the biggest impact on your education:  Mrs. Davis because she is a wonderful teacher and has always been so supportive.
A teacher that really believed in you and encouraged you:   Mr. Kreutz- he's always there to cheer me up and help me keep moving forward!
An examples of something specific a teacher (or anyone else) has done that really inspired you to be the excellent student you are today:  I have a lot of self-motivation which has inspired me to be the student I am today, i have several ambitions and have high standards/expectations for myself.
How has GEFFE impacted your education:  GEFFE gave a grant to Ms. Epperson for lab equipment and that has helped further our experiences in the lab tremendously which has been a blessing.

A teacher that believed in you and encouraged you:  Mrs. Epperson, she believed and guided me through my toughest subject AP Chemistry.
An example that inspired you to be the student you are today:  In my sophomore math class I was given an assignment to write a research paper about an example of how math is used in everyday life. I chose the topic of imaginary/complex numbers used in cell phones. I was in way over my head, or so I thought, but after completing my assignment I had a new found confidence in math which sparked the interest it has on me today.
How GEFEE has impacted your education:  I am in Senior Slideshow with Mrs. Thurman where our class was granted a video camera to help make videos for the slideshow. It has gifted me and the class the ability to learn a new piece of technology that none of us may have ever been able to use.

Coach Millican and the other coaches have also shown me that I can still be a successful athlete regardless of me being a girl.
How GEFFE has impacted your education: GEFFE has impacted my education in every subject, through the use of technology and many hands-on activities.

Teacher that believed in you:  Mrs. Rifler. I had her in 3rd grade, and she truly inspired me to achieve great things.
Example of a teacher that inspired you:   Mrs. Fracek never let me take the easy way out. She inspired me to work harder and to achieve the “scholar” level. "Be a scholar." She always said.
How GEFFE has impacted your education: The fact that GEFFE is so supportive and adamant about supporting our students' education is inspiring.  We need people like this around the world.

Teacher(s) who have impacted your education the most:  Mrs. Linda Fracek improved my writing so much from when I moved from Iowa and showed me that I am a decent writer.  Mrs. Jeanie Smith pushed me to go to OSSM and to be myself around others.  Mrs. Keli Steen taught me the wonders of science research which has led me to my career path.
A teacher that believed in you and encouraged you:  Mrs. Keli Steen believe in my crazy science fair idea which now has become something that will eventually be able to help people around the world. (A Fluidized Sand Water Filter)
An example that inspired me to be the student I am today:  My parents have showed me how far people can get in life by hard work and compassion. I try to live this way every day.
How GEFFE has impacted your education:  GEFFE gave our AP Chemistry class Vernier Equipment so that we can better understand chemical reactions and have fun having hands on experience with Chemistry.
Other Comments:  I am the oldest child of six children. All of my siblings are adopted and have very different personalities and needs. This has taught me that family is more than blood. Also I moved here my junior year so my favorite teachers are teachers that I know from church who have been a blessing in my life.

An example that inspired me to be the student I am today:  My Grandfather has always impacted my education, inspiring me to go above and beyond ,helping me realize that every struggle has its payoff.
How GEFFE has impacted my education:  Being a four-year member of the FROG robotics team, GEFFE impacts my education greatly every day. Many of the competitions we attend and many of the parts we build would not be possible without GEFFE's donations.

How GEFFE impacted my education: Oscar the skeleton (donated to Mrs. Steen) has helped me learn about the skeletal system in Anatomy, and the 5 Steps to a 5 study book (donated to Mrs. Fracek) has given me a more in depth understanding of poetry.

How GEFFE has impacted your education:  GEFFE has made it possible for my AP Chemistry class to perform labs that we would have not be able to perform had GEFFE not helped pay for the equipment. Those lab experiments allowed me to gain a better understanding of how several of concepts of chemistry occurred.
